When we first met Pilou, he was just another stray trying to survive in a world that hadn’t been kind. Gentle and trusting despite everything, Pilou had a visible hernia that needed urgent surgery, something no animal should face alone. On top of that, he was unneutered and vulnerable to the many dangers that come with life on the street.We reached out to you, our community, asking for help. And you showed up.Because of your donations, Pilou was safely operated on, neutered, and given a real chance at a better life.But the best news of all? Pilou won’t be returning to the streets. He has touched the hearts of a local family who decided to adopt him and make him one of their own.
