PETE THE STARVING DOG DUMPED IN THE STREETS

pete was found roaming the streets, looking for water and food, having his bones showing on his body! we rushed pete to the vet for a full check-up. he actually had a diarrhea and it was full of stones. yes, stones. the poor dog was starving till the level where he ate stones!Β  pete’s overall health was good, however he was malnourished. pete moved to a boarding home where we provided his best meals and a quiet environment to rest for the violence of the streets (and previous guardians)… when pete gained back some weight, and his energy was back, he was ready to get neutered. he underwent the surgery and recovered perfectly! then the boarding home was not available anymore, and pete needed a new place. pete moved to a training facility where he is spending his days, monitored by a trainer. pete didn’t find his family in lebanon, in collaboration with Elias & friends, he was included in our program to travel to france. if all goes well, pete will be able to travel by march 2023. about pete: age: 4 years old potty trained: yes – 90% dog friendly: reactive cat friendly: no kids friendly: if they are not pushy he doesn’t mind them energy level: high – but calm whenever he diffuses energy knows basic commands: he knows sit, down, say hi. does he bite: doesn’t bite at all unless you force something on him does he try to escape: never tried to escape current staying …
