GRAPHICALpeggy was found by a family in the south who reached out to us, saying that most probably this cat was hit on her nose. it took 24h to coordinate the drive of peggy from the south to the hospital in jounieh.when vet-checked, it was clearly more than a "hit on the nose" all kind of tests were done for her, and it appeared she's suffering from cancer.a surgery was scheduled for her to be able to save her! peggy underwent the surgery and she started to heal slowly.however, the vets informed us that the cancer can show up again at any time... the vets were not expecting to have the cancer back in less than 12 months... however, it hits again in the same spot.peggy healed and was fostered for months before starting to suffer again. this time, she was too weak to fight back...peggy was rescued in august 2022 and left us on may 2023.we received a heartwarming message from the vets with her real paw print on the card... this doesn't make it feel any less painful. we wanted to give her a second chance... please donate to help us continue our mission!
