GRAPHICALoscar was reported in dahyeh, beirut, with an “injured leg”.we rushed him emergently to the hospital, and to our surprise, the leg was just not injured, but a bone was showing out of it!after the x-rays, and clearly the bone has been out for a while, nothing was doable to save the leg. an amputation surgery was needed! oscar underwent the amputation surgery, lost his leg, but he was saved.clearly he wasn’t happy with all this pain… once discharged from the hospital, oscar moved to a paid foster home. he was un-happy there. but he stayed for a while to recover.oscar is a sweet and friendly dog, and we moved him to another home with a great family! thanks to Elias & Friends, oscar started his process to travel and find his home in france, as we knew it was not possible to find him any family who deserved him in lebanon.and the process started… oscar spent long months at the new foster home, with the nice and loving family.he was treated like being part of their family, however it was not his forever home, and the search in france continued… on october 7, 2022, oscar left beirut to france.through the special collaboration with Elias & friends, oscar found his forever loving home abroad, and he settled with his new family and brothers! a special thanks go to Elias & Friends for making this trip possible! please donate to help us continue our mission!
